# Trifrost

> Trifrost is the enterprise control plane for AI inference — one governed,
> audited, OpenAI-compatible API across 27+ model providers, with load
> balancing, zero-content stream failover, per-department cost control, and a
> tamper-evident audit log, deployed as a managed cloud service in the region

> certified. Bring your own IdP (Okta, Entra, Keycloak, Zitadel, Google
> Workspace) — server-side OIDC sessions, claim-driven team mapping, no

Three pillars: **Gateway** (universal, self-healing inference across
providers), **Governance** (Customer → Department → User → Virtual Key
budgets, per-model allowlists, session-level cost attribution),
**Observability** (every request = one HMAC-signed event row; TTFT/TPS
telemetry; live in-flight observability; SIEM export).
